Visited tonight for a special birthday dinner and we weren't disappointed. 7 of us booked for 7:30pm and we had two young adults who have autism with us. They're used to going to busy places so they were fine once we sat at our table but it is a very busy restaurant that can be quite loud so be aware of that if you're looking for somewhere quiet!
From the outside Massimo looks pretty unassuming but don't let that fool you. You open the doors to a large entry, very nicely decorated, clean and inviting. The tables are close but not crowded and the chairs are comfortable!
The food is phenomenal. It's made to order so don't expect to get a pre-made lasagna that's just reheated (they don't have it on the menu for a reason). The ingredients are fresh and it's beautifully prepared.
Two of us had pizza, 2 had spaghetti Bolognese, 2 had prawn & chorizo linguine and one person had seafood risotto. We also had some cheesy garlic bread and chips on the side. Desserts were hot chocolate fudge cake with ice cream and tiramisu.
Service was excellent. Attentive but not over bearing. Just what you want.
If you want to visit you must book. It's highly unlikely you'll get a walk in any evening of the week - it's that popular! We can't fault it and will definitely be back.
One of the best pasta I have ever had !!.. the quality of the food is brilliant .. the prices are reasonable for the quality you get.. the restaurant serves pints too and there is a nice vibe to it ... Overall I would give it 8 out of 10 and will defo come back if I'm around !!
Food is to die for and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The only criticism I have is that the restaurant was quite noisy but it was very busy (which it will be cause the food is amazing). Overall a wonderful experience.
