Lovely authentic Thai restaurant in town. It's close to the train and bus station. Good vibes, great selection, good service. Most of their dishes are authentic Thai, but some are not quite right or not to my liking. Inconsistency but all in all, very nice Thai food.
We visited at a very busy evening, but a lovely lady managed to fit us in:) good atmosphere with loads of thai decoration (love the tins) and an open kitchen! My partner and I opted to go for the pinto sharing feast which was £18.50 pp, but the amount you got was generous, and the food was to die for<3 highly recommend when you visit Bath!
A recreation of an authentic Thai marketplace, sometime shadowy, other times bright with interesting 'buts of stuff' in every nook and cranny and available space on the ceiling and walls. Creates a great atmosphere.
We'd book for a table at 3 pm, however checked in at 1.30 as it was raining hard and shopping was not enjoyable. Most welcoming were the staff who accommodated us with charm.
Drinks ordered and then to the menu. Nibbles required (prawn crackers and sweet chilli sauce) as each dish offered had to be poured over, discussed and compared, such were the wonderful number of options and choices. We decided not to have the starters but went straight to the main courses. Beef, duck and prawns, in either noodles, with peppers, onions and chilli, or salad and sticky rice. What a treat. No harsh staining from excess chilli or spices but a rich tasting, flavoursome, well balanced and delicious lunch that was clearly crafted by chefs who know their stuff. Table was waited upon by three or more assistants, all of who were polite,.gracious and enhanced our experience.
I am really looking forward to my next opportunity to visit. This was a great experience. Thank you.
