Excellent coffee and excellent customer service. Great members of staff who guide you through the menu, taking the time to find a coffee that suits your preference. Well worth a visit!
I walked into a random coffee shop in Bath while over from the states, and the barista pushed me this direction. It was a great tip. The owner won the U.K. barista championship, so obviously the coffee was outstanding. The staff was also incredibly friendly -- they were willing to talk shop with me for 10 or 15 minutes and let me sample a number of their beers. The inside was also well-designed -- they managed to create an aesthetically pleasing, inviting space, without coming off as overly-polished liked Starbucks or Costa. If I'd discovered them earlier in the trip, I know I would have spent the lion's share of my time in Bath at this shop.
