We were taken for lunch by friends during our Peak District stay. Lovely building, beautifully designed with comfortable public areas. The only downside was our host wanted a draught bitter but was not able to have it. Otherwise a fantastic place for lunch afternoon tea.

Thank you so much to the incredibly kind staff at Cavendish House. I was stranded in the floods and a long way from home. They were so welcoming and kind, offered me a hot drink and let me relax in their lounge until the water had partially subsided for my onward journey. Thank you so much! As a lone female traveller it meant a lot to be taken care of and supported.

Had my daughters wedding reception here last month and it was perfect. Staff fabulous. Food fabulous. Service fabulous. Wine fabulous. Rooms fabulous. Would have welcomed discounted rooms for wedding guests like many other hotels offer..
