Food is a mixed bag of acceptable, good and delicious. Service at counter is apathetic and lackluster most times; whilst on the phone/ email its very friendly. I remember July 30th 2018 my first day at Chineham Business park when I popped into Dayers and I was asked "What do you want?" in a non serviceable tone. I would give it 3.5 stars but as staff has been rotated and this really rude lady that took off on maternity has been replaced for now. First impressions are everything and after being a year long + customer I noticed Dayers has a fantastic niche due to it being the only catering/eatery in the Chineham business park after the Lunch box fire but it lacks in customer service at the counter. It is our go-to in terms of catering as it is delicious (try the sausage rolls or Mexican chicken baguette) and the sandwiches are properly made. Sometimes they toast the burritos/ baguettes to a burnt crisp though and they should invest in timers. The Dayers Burger is King and I strongly recommend it! The service isn't always the best as sometimes staff feel overworked or stressed and lack the foresight to attend the next customer when it means to toast a sandwich or something in an effort to lower the wait times. The pricing could be a bit better. Particularly for soft drinks and non counter items that are prepped in the kitchen. You also do notice staff with a smile as they zip around in their Twizzy doing deliveries around the park although that has stopped (the Twizzy). Overall, it is recommended if your lunch break is 30 minutes and its a walking distance and enjoy a mix of good food. I cannot comment on the restaurant as I have not yet enjoyed sitting in.

Great food but a little pricey. Also no high protein options despite being next door to a gym!
