Wonderful little spoons over three levels going back to a beer garden near the car park. The place was fairly busy when I was there and there didn't seem to be that many staff as they were constantly running around clearing, cleaning and serving, only to start all over again. They were pretty relaxed and cheerful- again with the smiling. Unfortunately they were out of Guinness, but the Gwynt Y Ddraig Black Dragon was an excellent replacement.
A bit course, thanks to a fair bit of loud and excessive swearing from some afternoon drinkers, but the pub was still good. It was clean and comfortable. Staff have tried hard to make this pub welcoming and visually attractive, lots of flowers and plants, nice patio and outside area at the back. Yes agree with other reviews, it was a bit raw... but at least it felt like a proper pub! Nice staff.
Wonderful sausages, mash and peas as part of their pub classics deal. Excellent value, tasted amazing, very helpful and friendly staff, perfect!
