I recently organised my school reunion at The Tea Bar.
Right from the start they were really helpful - we had an area cordoned off near the door and we had the most amazing buffet at a great price. The staff on the night were really helpful and polite, and the manageress (who had worked very hard preparing the buffet and whose name I have sadly forgotten) kept me up to date all evening with regards to the food and checking that we were all ok, and even suggested (and organised) for the leftover food to go to the local homeless hostel.
Everyone who attended had a great time and commented on the great choice of venue, many of whom had never been there before.
I really cannot recommend them highly enough!
Fab as always. I’d hate to guess how many times we’ve been here. Always good, service sometimes a bit slow but when you’re chatting with family or friends, who cares. Mums and daughters afternoon tea and cocktails this time (party of 9) Table was ready and laid out for us, food was great, sandwiches were fresh, cakes delicious. The cocktails were lovely and nicely presented. Always a pleasure 😊
I love this place! The staff are so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is great, the food is scrummy and there is plenty of space even when it's very busy. It's easily the best cafe in town. We go there practically every week!
