Late Birthday treat from our friends. This was our first visit to this branch. Ample parking. But the entrance seems to be at the wrong end of the building. That aside, we had a warm welcome at the bar where we had a drink before being shown to our table. We were treated to the best steak I have ever had. The sharing 30 day aged Cote De Boeuf 28oz was sensational. We also had a starter and pudding but they pale into significance compared to the mains. We would definitely recommend. Only downside was the men’s toilets were quite dirty and both entrance doors were filthy where they are pushed open. That is a pet hate of mine. But these ones were particularly filthy. But everything else was awesome.

Lots of parking which is good. But dark with no lighting in car park at night. Does not have signs for exit in the car park. Staff are friendly and always with a smile. Could do with a few extra staff, as service charge was added on the bill off over £300 for 8 of us. Food is very nice and well presented. Very impressed with the 16oZ rib eye steak, perfected cook.

My wife and I visited Miller and Carter Langdon Hills Basildon. I asked to move tables twice as I don't like the small tables I didn't feel comfortable. The staff dealt with my request promptly which I can imagine might be frustrating for them. The food was great starters and main the drinks were really nice, great cocktails. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were polite and friendly especially Michael he took good care of us and came across as very friendly and helpful. I had my steak well done and they happily accommodated my request. I would give Michael 5 stars for his service and definitely recommend this venue to friends and family.
