We had the enormous fortune of these guys at our wedding this month. The staff were such a great bunch and as for the food.....my goodness, amazing! So many of our guests (and some are tricky to please!) complimented the fish and chips and subsequent conversations about the wedding has always resulted in talking about the fish and chips being the best they've ever had! Very good fish and chips. Top peas and curry sauce. Opposite a spar for other things. Well priced. Great portion size. Cooked fresh. Does close at 7.30pm on some nights.

We used Whiddon valley for our meal the night before our wedding. The fish was cooked perfectly. And we are still getting compliments saying it was the best fist & chips people have ever had. Highly, highly, recommend.

Great food options and the staff are friendly and helpful. The portion sizes have considerably increased making it well worth the money so that's a great thing. The chips are cooked well and for a proper traditional fish and chips I recommend this place. Not only that they have a van which goes out around the small villages offering takeaway to the locals
