We went to the Barnstaple branch. Top notch food and very friendly service. We had the English breakfast with oki and it was 11/10. Everything was cooked to perfection. Coffee was also fantastic. You need to make a reservation for Saturdays and get there early-ish in my opinion.

I finally managed to get a table today and it was definitely worth it. I've seen lots of write ups all over social media, all good. The food was absolutely amazing right up my street. Healthy and a great taste. My daughter had the block burger, it was the best she had had for a very long time. The chips had a seasoning on and they were delicious. I had the chicken shawarma which was chargrilled spiced Lebanese chicken in a beautiful light baked flat bread, which was huge. The salad was lovely and fresh. Busy small clean restaurant with very friendly staff. I will definitely be going back.

Amazing little place that had incredible food. This was their big vegan breakfast and omg the mushrooms were so delicious! The rest was lovely as well, a good price for the amount of food too 😊 Would highly recommend!

Thank god these guys are opening another restaurant in Taunton soon, because I MUST try move of this menu 👀 I am forever on a mission to find unique brunch spots that offer more than just bacon and eggs - @eatatblock exceed all expectations 😍 Incredible flavours from start to finish, perfect portions (the menemen even filled Joe up) and great service. Hurry up Taunton 🙌 The order: Okonomiyaki - £9 Menemen - £9 + Halloumi - £2.50 + Chorizo - £2.50 📅 Visited in April 2023

Incredible food. Went for the first time today after drooling over the menu for a while. Staff friendly, efficient, and made sure we were OK. It is more expensive than other local places, but that is 100% reflected in the quality of the food. Happy tummies all round!

Excellent place we happened upon early in our holiday. We went twice (only because they're only open Wed-Sat), and could honestly say, this was the best food we had all week. Friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely atmosphere.

Five of us dined here in the evening and words cannot describe how thrilled we all were to find this gem in Barnstaple. The menu was amazing and we all struggled to choose as we wanted everything. What we did order did not disappoint. If you are looking for an authentic meal, all freshly made, with incredible flavours Block will not disappoint. Cannot recommend eating here highly enough.

While on holiday my self and my wife decide to go to Barnstaple while walking around the town we spotted the block which from the outside looks like and unassuming cafe. As it was nearing midday we checked out the menu and know instantly that this was some where we needed to try and we were not disappointed the food is fresh and and tasty and clear crafted by people that are passionate about food. For anyone that is a foodie a definite recommendation.
