A quiet local pub. We called in for a pint whilst out exploring thel local area. Dogs are welcome and our two were very welcomed in. Very clean, with friendly staff. We had a pint of Wainwright and half a neck oil. Both were really good. Recommended if you're passing by . We did not get food or stay in rooms so cannot comment on those .

Good central location but no noise to disturb you. Rooms clean and spacious with good facilities. Amanda and Tom are lovely hosts and the clientele are really friendly. Lots of nice places to eat and drink with friendly service. If you want to have your own private disco with flashing headboard, ask for Room No. 1 :) Jill, Barry, Dave and Brenda

Great friendly pub for both young and old. Staff really friendly and helpful. One of the cheapest places in town and in a good location. Busy pub with all the sports on and karaoke every Saturday night. Live music on also, just watch for the advertising .
