Went for a breakfast here few days ago. Massively impressed with the cleanliness of the place both inside and out. One lady took the time to pick something stuck on the dust mat - this doesn't have to be done but she did it.
Food is as you expect from here.
Organised chaos!!
I don't often use McD's but needed something to eat while out later than usual. A few customers inside, but the poor staff seemed to be running around getting frequent orders for collection by Just Eat drivers. They could really do with an extra member of staff on to see to the counter and lobby. An extra £14/£15 an hour shouldn't kill their profits and the extra member of staff can always start the "close" duties if it got quiet in the store (doubtful, it's 11pm and still quite busy).
The food is pretty much what you'd expect. I'd done a "grill" order (non standard) which was mostly correct, and they quickly added the one missing item. The fries were disappointing though, a mix of ones that had obviously spent too long under the heat lamp of the fry station and some that were piping hot but undercooked. Given that they were pretty much cooking to order it was disappointing.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the lobby including tables were clean. I have limited experience of the McD stores in Oxfordshire and Warwickshire, but this one seems to be one of the better ones.
Top notch service with good, fast food. The bay is also perfectly located - it's just in front of the drive through (easy to get into).
