Me and a friend were stuck for a nice place to eat and catch up on a weekday and had heard this place had good food. Well we heard wrong... this place serves AMAZING FOOD! The duck on the pond is a hidden gem! Its Land Lady is professional and polite, our waitress was lovely and the Black Forest sundae was to die for � I would highly recommend visiting this cute little pub. We went this evening so it was dark but the patio looks perfect for an afternoon pint. Thank you very much x

Stunning menu. Fabulous food. The best meal we've had for a very long time! Absolutely delicious and fairly priced. Friendly staff. Gorgeous interior. Lots of parking. Great garden. Will definitely return. (The one and only negative was the outside garden furniture ... wooden and way past its 'use by' date.)

Visited yesterday with family on our way back home from a wedding in Daventry. Beautiful, quaint little pub and the food was to die for! We were a table of 8 with two small toddlers and even the children’s meals were amazing. Very clean and lovely village pub. My only fault was the position of the baby changing table, a little awkward to say the least but in a toilet so tiny I can understand the logic in where it’s placed. All in all a fabulous place and we will definitely visit again in the warmer months
