My wife and I visited this delightful cafe just over a week ago on the way home from a week in Argyll. What a picturesque spot, with outdoor seating overlooking a gurgling stream, and plenty of parking - which had been recently landscaped most attractively!
We had coffee, a scone and a tray-bake, all of which were delicious. We were intrigued by the "shark toilet" reference!
But what made the stop most memorable was the warm welcome and friendly chat we had with the owners. Andrea seemed genuinely interested in our feedback even as passing customers. We wish them every success in their new venture!
Fantastic cafe! The owners are so welcoming and friendly and have made so many wonderful changes to the Golden Larches inside and out!
Always a good meal, excellent coffee and yummy cakes!
The wood burning stove and the views make the conservatory area a very cosy and lovely place to sit! Also very doggy friendly and not to forget the amazing Shark Toilet! A must stop on the way up north, highly recommend
Awesome service, delicious food and warm, friendly atmosphere. The couple running it were incredibly welcoming and chatty. Would highly recommend the carrot cake, you would never guess it was gluten free, a real delight for my partner who rarely gets to enjoy a dessert out! 😊
