All of the Greggs staff I've met and spoken to are friendly, helpful and talkative except for one or two staff at this branch. There's one woman in particular who goes about looking harrassed and sounds disgruntled each time I've been in. It seems like she struggles with making anything other than a black or flat white coffee. I've asked her for a mocha and every time she gets it wrong which means it gets poured down the drain.
Looking at the bigger picture and the unit space is tiny which indicates, that the number of staff required to ensure the branch is operating properly, effectively and safely will be restricted and furthermore, the amount of customers queuing is increasing at the busiest times. This isn't fair on the staff but perhaps relocating to a bigger unit, both wider and longer might help solve some of these issues?
Absolutely luv a Greggs 😋 always get sausage rolls ...cheese and onion pasties and a box of 4 pink sugared doughnuts and a tea if I'm sittn in lol but always take loads home too if I'm in Town ...good to see it still going, I feel its a shop for everyone to enjoy, no matter what walk of life you're from we ALL can afford a Greggs 🥳🥳
Staff aren't quite as hospitable as the "bottom" Greg's (lower end of high street) but man do they make them sausage rolls EXACTLY the same. Consistency is key.
