Great place for food and drinks, very friendly and professional staff. Varied menu with delicious food
Lovely Valentine's Day lunch here. The Bell offered a set 3-course menu which I have to say was brilliant in terms of choices, but also the food was incredible. I had the salt & Szechwan squid to start, lamb rump for main and a raspberry and chocolate melting bomb for dessert, all for £32 pp. Their main menu items looked good too, with many in the restaurant going for fish and chips, so will have this the next time I visit! Good selection of wines, and service was attentive. 👍🏼
Lovely looking pub and restaurant both outside and inside. We had a one year old with us and were immediately seated at a window table with curved seating, perfect for a clambering baby. Swift service from an amazing waitress who wrote none of our orders down but remembered everything exactly as we ordered and nothing was any trouble for her. Very friendly, so helpful but also extremely professional.
Delicious food, perfectly cooked and hot. Have recently moved to the area and The Bell will be our go to restaurant in the future with guests and family.
The only suggestion I have to improve the Bell is to cut some of the long stems on the trellises as you walk down the path as they catch people’s faces and are hiding the beautiful fairy lights.
