Called ahead to book a table for three with an hour's notice and we were accommodated. Service was exemplary, staff welcoming and attentive, special mention for Annetta. Whenever we stay in Manchester we always make a special trip out of the city to visit The Sheldon Arms.

Went way back in early June for roast carvery with my brother & our friend tried the mixed grill. Was really nice & value for money, definitely gonna go back at end month when they completed there refurbishment & try out more there food.

I can definitely recommend the breakfast!! Food was delicious, fresh, plenty of it! Staff friendly, helpful, and offered vegetarian alternatives. Just great.

Family and friends gathering. Most of the attendees had the carvery which was well worth the price. Selection of meat, vegetables, Yorkshire Pudding and gravy etc available. Vegetables can be replenished. Many was full up just for the carvery but a few could not resist the chocolate brownie with ice cream. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Came in tonight for the first time unfortunately it was only carvery. I did not mind as a lady told us before we sat down and was apologetic! my husband was wanting one anyway. It was amazing the food and the service special thanks to the lady’s that served us I think one was in red and another in uniform (sorry i didn’t catch your names!) We will definitely be back
