Absolutely beautiful meal. Everything was cooked to perfection with obvious love and care. Staff are lovely. You get what you pay for and the food served here is outstanding. The chocolate and sticky stout pudding was to die for. This place is a great find- you will not be disappointed, highly recommended!
We really like this place. The staff are friendly and attentive and the place is clean. The breakfasts they do are the best. The difference here is they use decent ingredients not cheap catering sausages and so forth so the outcome is super tasty. They are a young bunch but they could teach a lot of other places how to do a breakfast properly. Carry on the good work.
Brilliant food cooked by two young chef's who work hard and deserve all the accolades that come their way! A great place to eat, a lovely atmosphere with good staff. If you want fine dining without paying the earth this is the place to go!
A fantastic new place to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner in Ashburton! Great coffee and interior design as well ;) Well done Amy and Joe for making Ashburton an even better place to be.
We asked a local where we could get the best breakfast and so was pointed to The Old Library. He was so right.... The breakfast was amazing all so incredibly tasty. My sons had the croissant avocado scrambled eggs bacon again delicious and the plum jam great. Such a lovely open setting.. Good luck we will return.
First time in Ashburton since lockdown....it was very quiet. Found this lovely cafe/brunch place which is very popular. Coffee and some lovely toast ( homemade bread ) with a mixed berry jam. It was absolutely delicious. Lots of types of breakfast on the board and they looked very nice when they were coming out. Quite expensive. Similar prices to what we would pay in London. Good ambiance....Good service
Great service and brunch. Well prepared, tasty and lovely textures!
We liked it here.
Good Menu.
Good service.
Good surroundings.
Adjacent the Tourist information Centre.
Would visit again if in the area.
A delightful little cafe/restaurant that was offering a lovely range of brunch options when we visited. Felt like a nice mix of London artisan cuisine with a Devonshire town vibe. Might seem pricey to some, but you get very tasty and well presented dishes. We had a salmon and cream cheese croissant, some bacon, egg and avocado croissants, and huevos rancheros. Yum!
Having set out to explore Dartmoor and being thwarted by closed roads and badly signposted diversions we found ourselves in Ashburton. We enjoyed a lovely coffee in The Old Library and went back later for their Old Library Breakfast. It was all freshly cooked, presented very well, and was delicious, especially good were the Homemade Beans. All the staff were friendly and polite, a special mention goes to Meg. Thanks for turning what could have been a disappointing outing to a delightful one
