It is a great place to stay and relax to enjoy the Yorkshire Dale's. Lovely rooms in a lovely nice pub. Great food and friendly staff, too.
Came away for a solo trip walking in the countryside - definitely going to be retuning at some point and would highly recommend this place for somewhere to stay.
There is not much phone signal there, but free WiFi is available if needed.
Plus, who needs a phone when you come away to relax and enjoy the English countryside 👍👍👍
On our recent visit to the Yorkshire Dales, we enjoyed an evening meal here due to it being the closest pub within walking distance to where we were staying. It is recommended that you make a booking for this pub as it apparently can get very busy, however, when we arrived around 6:00pm it was fairly quiet. Although our table was actually booked for 7:00pm, we were allowed to sit there from when we arrived, even though we did say we wouldn't be ordering food until around 7:00pm, this was no issue. The menu offers a good range of traditional pub dishes, we ordered; the beef and mushroom pie and the fish and chips. When our food arrived, it was nicely presented with great portion sizes, and it was really tasty! The only complaint we had (which is only very minor) is that the mushy peas served with the fish and chips were quite dry and cold, they certainly didn’t taste fresh.. Other than that, the food was great! The service was brilliant, staff were friendly and catered to us promptly. If we ever return to this part of the Yorkshire Dales, we would certainly book at this pub again.
We had a fabulous weekend away at the CB Inn. The staff are so friendly and helpful and it was fabulous coming back from a walk around the Dales to a pint and a roaring fire! They even applied my other half after dinner on his birthday with a beautifully presented birthday cake and a rendition of “Happy Birthday.” Meals were lovely and the room delightfull and I would thoroughly recommend.
