Best meal I've had out in a long time. The portions are just right and absolutely delicious, topped off with cocktails that could give a few local cocktail bars a run for their money. Highly recommend!
We were looking for somewhere to have breakfast whilst in Anstruther and noticed this place was open. It's relatively new so we decided to give it a bash. The interior is nicely set just enough tables so as not to appear crushed. We ordered our food, soup and a haggis roll, coffees and juice, which came out soon after. The lentil soup is without doubt one of the best soups we have ever had served to us, delicious and the haggis was of good quality, bought from a butcher in Crail. The server was polite, prompt and well presented. The toilet was spotless. This is dog friendly too. The prices were on par with similar establishments in the area. We will definitely go back again but try an evening meal next time.
Called in for a drinks! We were served by a lovely helpful young man(never got his name)but he couldn't do enough for us. He was so patient and professional. My sister and I had 3 different cocktails one of which was a Malibu Sunset (or sunrise) developed by the waiter. It was gorgeous more so when sipped with a straw.
We spent some time talking to the chef Spud. What a lovely fella. He certainly enjoys his work and it was do nice to ask our opinions on the afternoon tea devised for the Queens Platinum Jubilee.
Just calling for drinks was a great call it's a pity they were full for lunch.
