I had some good times many years ago about 1975, used to meet up with some of the lads that could not drink at the other pubs in town. Ha Ha, a clever landlord in those days, no trouble and always plenty drinking at the bar including me. Happy days, I miss them
Sunday dinner was lovely, would have preferred some proper mashed swede but everything else was so tasty, the outside has been done so well, but it would be nice if they could have a little play area for kiddies. But this place has a lovely atmosphere, staff were welcoming. Definitely will have food again.
Just been up for Sunday lunch. Absolutely outstanding 👏 plenty of choice. Meat thickly cut and plenty of it. Choice of vegetables great loved the home made cauliflower cheese, home made stuffing and topped with proper gravey. Well wwprt a visit you would not be disappointed
