This little gem of a cafe was a fantastic blast from the past!
The staff were super friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious.
Also, if you want a proper, builders brew mug of tea, those is most definitely the place to come!!!!
I arrived in Amesbury last night, I really needed to eat something but everything was closed... At 10pm 😮
So I really need to have a huge breakfast. I came across the Friar Tuck cafe and ordered the "biggest ever" - 2 bacon, 2 sausages, 2 eggs, 4 hash browns, mushroom, beans, tomatoes, black pudding, toast and fried bread.
This gigantic meal was devoured in 15 minutes. Partly because of my hunger but also because the breakfast was unbelievably nice.
The service was quick and the staff were really friendly. If I'm ever in Amesbury Town I'll certainly go back and tackle the 'biggest ever ' again 😊
Typical greasy spoon cafe. Decor is a little dated, although there are plenty of tables. Food came quite quick. Place could do with being a little tidier/ cleaner, but then again, you get what you pay for Very reasonably priced. Was quite busy when we went, so a few tables were piled up with dirty cups, plates and cutlery. Overall good and would go again.
