Expanding my self indulgence to now include as well as the utterly scrumptious Bacon butty; the mouthwatering "Porchetta with Gremolata, green leaves and truly tangy whole grain mustard." Seriously these guys really can cook, the pork, like their bacon, chicken ect are cooked to my idea of perfection (they're also a truly lovely couple) and to be honest, another hard to resist foodie addiction I did not need. It's now really hard to choose from the menu and they will usually step in with a suggestion whenever I'm stood before their counter looking pathetically helpless....and drooling..big time. What we Ex-Air Force types describe as "droolininmeboots." It's a recognised Dinning affliction.... Today, after running four miles and swimming two (seemed much further as I have little legs), made a good account of a very serious fried sausage with excellent coffee as always from the lovely Lauren at Trove next door. I finished off my gastronomic shame with one of the most ridiculously attractive strawberry cakes ever to end up on a plate. If this thing had been a Disney Character it would have been Snow White....see photo's...Yes, and I also murdered the "Mille Feuille" or "Napoleon" slice too...aggggh I'm so ashamed...Sorta!!! It was from the new guy's at the very end of the row at Bisous-Bisous. Seriously, if you're having a a bad/good/cheat day, go getta coffee from Trove, a monumentally terrific meal from Nationale 7 and a pastry to die for at Bisous-Bisous; tell them Toe sent you. Take care and be of peace X Probably the finest and absolutely the most consistent bacon butty that I've had in years...and that's saying something! Ciabbata and very crisp bacon plein air.. yum, perfect after a long run, fast swim or late night...(Usually all three; Bacon is its own reward). Honestly, it's all really good food, excellent coffee, San Pellegrino lemonadel, wickedly tempting cakes and fresh bread by "Trove," genuinely lovely and knowledgeable people on hand, friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the heart of Altrincham...(for both Vegetarian and Carnivorous Rex alike)....Lovelee Jublee!

The sandwiches seem a lot compared the prices you pay theses days but they are a taste sensation ! the chicken is hot from the rotisserie oven and is delicious.
