Absolutely stunning makeover for a hidden gem! We are locals and visited a few years ago, and it was nothing compared to what it is now!
The new huge expansion and development of a traditional country pub, but created for the modern demands of customer experience of great food and local produce, captured by natural beautiful surroundings is a 10 out 10!
The staff were really knowledgeable and very helpful. The service was relaxed, and the new extension we sat in was really impressive, and the garden area was picture-perfect for anyone whether socially with family, or friends or romantically, this pub would suite anyone wanting to visit a real country pub tucked away off the beaten track.
The menu offers up some mouth-watering delights, and they have specials every day and offer gluten-free options, which is clearly marked.
The portions are very generous but plated up with care and foodie flare! We enjoyed every mouthful.
It's dog friendly, with free ample parking, and I can imagine this pub will be a hot spot for locals and outside visitors for many years to come.

Fantastic place to visit and enjoy the bounty of local produce and tasty food and wonderful surroundings! Loved our visit. Looking forward to going back 😀 We went back a second time and it was lovely all over again.
The pub was well decorated with a lovely rustic style and atmosphere. Located in a beautiful countryside surrounding, over looked from the rear garden. The canvas canopy nicely sheltered you, with cute garden tables and chairs. Stone baked pizza was on offer. The interesting menu offered us great choice. The table service was very good. We really enjoyed the food, very well presented and oozing with flavour and texture but does come with a price. However, wished the dessert we chosen was more to our liking. This does not deter us from eating here again. Great find, wish there were more independent, well run pubs like this one. Highly recommended.
