Always had a fab time at this pub weather I visit it regular or haven't gone for months n called back in myself and my friends have always been made welcome by Jackie and her staff....... Lovely crowd ov people always in the pub who always make us welcome aswell..... Lovely clean comfortable pub nice big function room where I've known there to be wedding receptions and parties also attended fund raising functions which Jackie runs aswell. .. Love this place.... Can't visit Alnwick without calling to the blue bell fab staff lovely customers great place for food also

I would like to say thank you to Jackie and her staff fern, Sophie. for a fantastic meal that I wun for father's day that we had today. It was beautiful more than u can eat and well presented. Thanks again we all enjoyed it. We would recommend u go and try for Ur self s you definitely will not be disappointed. The lasses are great to.! Xx

Had a Sunday lunch and I have to be honest and say it’s the nicest meal I have had eating out. Proper homemade yorkie puds, proper mash and roasties, and lush gravy. Great portion size and hot. Will Defo be back. The staff are very friendly and helpful, a really friendly local pub.
