The food at the golden lion is by far the best pub food I've ever eaten! I'm a little addicted to going..we were there on Saturday for lunch, we'll be there for birthday lunch with family tomorrow. I even took my mum there for Christmas day dinner! The decor is lovely, the staff are really friendly and welcoming and the log fire keeps you cosy as you enjoy trying everything from the menu! Highly recommended this lovely place :-)

Had a meal in the restaurant last night and it was absolutely beautiful. I had a steak, good quality and cooked to perfection. My friend had lamb shank that looked delicious. I would certainly recommend a visit, fantastic food in a beautiful setting
