This restaurant has created the atmosphere of the London pie and mash shops, without the sawdust on the floor. I enjoyed my two pie, mash and liquor very much, with quality of ingredients being first class. Do the steak pies taste like Manzes? Alas no, but still excellent in their own right. We'll worth a visit.
1. The people who served me were lovely, enthusiastic and friendly. They knew the menu and were able to answer questions properly. 2. The menu is very affordable and reasonable. 3. It might be an idea for those who prepare the food to be issued with disposable gloves. 4. The place was very neat and it has lots of room. It is not nice when one is trying to have a meal and one finds oneself too close to other people. 5. It is not the healthiest of places, but they do not pretend to be. If you want pie and mash, this is what you will get and they do it well. 6. The place is very new, I think it was established in 2019 and I do hope that, if warranted, they can move locations to be more in view of the public. They are tucked away in the Wellington Centre and it is likely they will attract more passers by if they were in a more prominent location. 7. I just hope that the business is able to succeed and I am honoured to be the first to review it.
Friendly staff member, great bit of pie and mash. Took me back to growing up in east end london.
