Welcoming, dog friendly, decent food. What more could you ask for

We had sunday lunch it was so tasty and plenty of it had 3 meats yorkshire puddings roast potatoes mash 3 vegetables extra gravy stuffing and apple sauce
Also hubby had hunters chicken he enjoyed that also and i tried his chips they were the best I'd ever tried
We will definitely be returning the next time were there or in hornsea

The George and Dragon is a nice traditional village pub. There is a good range of beers, larger and cider, including 2 cask conditioned hand-pulled real ales. The cask ale was in excellent condition when I called in. It is a nice cosy pub with several rooms. There is a real fire in the bar. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There are bar games, a pool table, dart board, and outside seating. I haven't eaten here, so I can't comment on the food. But the pub is very popular and dog friendly.

We called in today with a lady i look after. We thought it was a lovely friendly local pub. Pleasant surroundings and friendly people. Would visit again.

Popped in as was staying local.
Couple of pints and steak and chips.
The steak was one of the nicest I have eaten in a long time and the staff were helpful and friendly.
The reason for the 4 star on service was the 45 minute wait for that steak.

Pop in on local village lights night. Lovely to see our local pub looking so warm and welcoming. Open fire amazing. Just had cake and homemade chips, which came really quickly. Will be back to try your full menu thank you
