you will not find a more welcoming place to park you're bike or bum whilst out on a ride with mates (motorbikes are not required but sooo welcomed) or you'll find someone to have a natter and a brew with, they're all really friendly at the Steel Horse.
The burgers and hot food/rest of the menu make the trip worth it on they're own, if the draw of one of the best biking roads in the country thats a 5 min blap away. isn't enough to drag you down to the Steel Horse
Did a recce on the Saturday for a group ride on the Sunday and asked Dave if he could accommodate 20 bikes - no problem and he even recommend a good local road worth a ride. As it was we turned up with 27 bikes and 3 pillions and we were served delicious bacon roll etc with no fuss and good service. Many, many thanks to Dave, Megan and all the staff
Having eaten in biker haunts in London, France, Scotland, Nevada, South Africa, Goa, this doesn’t disappoint. The little touches, such as the vintage oil signs in the toilets make it special. I had a 200 rupee note in my pocket which is now added to the collection behind the bar and I had a free cake for it! Thank you! Keep doing what you are doing, do not compromise. It is worth waiting for quality at a destination eatery like yours. But start selling pin badges and tees. Cheers!
