22.8.23 update - further to my review below, Matthew from the local Social Bite shop got in touch with us last week - apparently the booking system that companies used previously for ordering food should have been updated and we would have then been unable to place the order we did.
The situation has now been resolved and we have been given the local shop contact details for placing any future orders.
We received an order today from them which was a complimentary order due to the issue highlighted and we would have to say that the food is fresh, delivered on time and looks tasty and went down a treat with those in our office that had it.
Thank you and we won`t hesitate to order from you again in the future now.

Sadly I`m having to rate this overall as a 1 star. Today, we were expecting delivery lunch for 13 people which had been ordered online (via our account) in plenty of time and we received an acknowledgement to our order but unfortunately no lunch was received.
I left 2 voicemail messages on different lines to find out where our order was, incase it had been delayed for some reason and also sent an email. At the time of writing this review (over 2hrs after expected delivery time, there is still no lunch delivered and no response to the voicemail messages or email.
I`ll look to receiving your acknowledgement reason as to why no lunch was delivered.
Really lovely staff and super friendly and welcoming to me and my puppy! He’s now a regular visitor and we enjoy popping in for chats and delicious food, also amazing coffee!
Nice coffee, tasty sandwiches, great staff service and all for a good cause. They have a loyalty card scheme allowing automatic donation of hot drinks for homeless. Also they offer the opportunity for you to subsidise hot meals for homeless. They also offer catering for local business meetings.
