Currently hosting a pop up restaurant with the most fabulous food I have eaten in awhile. Everything from the bread to the entree’s featuring seafood at its finest and perfectly cooked steaks were excellent! Looking forward to going to the chefs new restaurant in Pontyclon!

Went to the White Lion a few weeks ago and really enjoyed the vibe. The seafood pop-up seems to be a roaring success and all of the fish we ate was deliciously cooked. Management has put a great deal of effort into ensuring that the interior is beautiful, with fresh flowers everywhere! It was very very busy but we were treated with the utmost care.
Well what to say was greeted as I walked in and showed to my table very good service and friendly staff, and the food was superb complements to the chef will definitely be going back
We had a lovely meal at the pop up shop of Rock&Scallop. Delicious food, great service. Beautiful pub, with a lovely beer garden. Estrella Galicia on tap, fantastic beer. Great wine list and finish with a lovely coffee. Would definitely recommend.
We stayed a night here after the Coldplay concert as rooms in Cardiff were really expensive.
Our two rooms were decorated and styled to a very high standard, they were so nice that it was a shame only to be staying the one night.
Both rooms led out to a wide landing area which was kitted out as a kitchen, with a separate coffee machine, breakfast was continental and was laid out the night before and covered with plastic wrap.
Great food, great staff, great service, good selection of wine and beer. Highly recommend this place.

Called in with my wife and Aunt today for a drink. What an amazing place, extremely welcoming, the decor and ambiance were superb. All though we never ate, the food looked amazing and reasonably priced.
We had a tour of the accommodation upstairs which insistently is phenomenal, five star plus. We will definitely be returning.
Second time we'd been in three weeks, better the first time, but will try once more.
