We went here after having a very unwelcoming experience at The Farmers Inn down the road. They managed to fit us in despite not booking and we had a really good meal - pigeon to start followed by lamb pie and chicken gyros. Food was great and staff really friendly. Nice pub and good atmosphere, baby
Such an amazing pub! We had two meals here during our stay at Youlgreave and we would have come for more if we had the chance. The food is amazing, the beers are great and the service was super friendly. The first time we couldn’t make a booking but they could accommodate us! It’s also dog friendly
Cozy pub, nice and warm on a cool autumn evening and great food! I had the vegetarian chestnut and mushroom pie with mushy peas, new potatoes and a side salad. Would definitely come back!
We visited the pub twice for drinks and once for a meal. The lamb pie was great but too big. But our dog enjoyed it for breakfast the next day. Morris dancers were there on the night we dined, which was a surprise for all.

Stopped here to eat with our friends we walk with. Old style pub which serves very good food. All 5 of us enjoyed our meals and cleared our plates. Service was excellent with friendly staff and quick service. I would definitely return here.
Absolutely delicious pork roast, crunchy roast potatoes, lean meat, lots of veg variety, a huge Yorkshire and swimming in tasty gravy - I was very happy indeed. Would definitely return.
Went here to do a Morris dance out on a Tuesday evening. Great little village location with well kept beers, good bar snacks friendly staff & locals. Great music night afterwards. Looking forward to visiting in the future. Many thanks 💞 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I was walking The Limestone Way on Tuesday 11th April 2023 - it was raining heavily and I was soaked. I took shelter in The Bulls Head Hotel and even though I had a huge backpack and was drenched from head to toe, I was warmly welcomed. The food (I ordered a homemade pie with all the trimmings!) was
Five of us had a lovely dinner at the Bulls Head. The fish & Chips & Vegan pie were delicious. The staff were very helpful & welcoming. Thanks very much!
