have booked and paid deposit for this Thursday 1st December for 4 of us for lunch......I am really dreading it...ive just read the reviews and it doesn't sound a very good experience food or service wise. we have dined at the the star 🌟 and had a fabulous time and experience. will definitely post a review after our visit and hopefully it will be a fabulous one 🤔🤞 .

After seeing mixed reviews, we decided to still come and try it for ourselves. I am so glad that we did. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They would bring over extra bread for the fondue, etc. We really enjoyed the food and lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed my early lunch in the Winter Hutte last Sunday even though the friend I was supposed to come with couldn't make it. She was massively jealous though when I sent her the photos. Lovely cosy decor and warm interior, very pleasant to come into from the cold weather outside. The staff super friendly and accommodating, the ordered menu items arrived in a reasonable time. Personally I think the cheese fondue was great and I've had quite a few of those before. Shame I was too full to get a pudding but the hot chocolate with Baileys and marshmallows totally did it for me. I'm definitely coming again next year!

Opening weekend...lunch not too busy and food OK. This is a temporary hut so I think food prep is a bit limited. Apres ski vibe & menu. Lacking a bit of atmosphere for us but I'm sure it will get going. Brew York beer is delicious 😋

The winter Hütte restaurant was a great experience. Very pretty with stars in the sky and authentic Mountain View’s it’s a beautiful setting and (surprisingly quite taking into account its in right next to the Christmas markets and downstairs is rather loud athmosphere). The food us authentic and very delicious (we had hot choco and deserts). The only downside is the staff which seems to be not very communicative and helpful (even when asked). I would return for the experience and a nice lunch or dinner!

Popped in for a drink during our Christmas shop. It was busy with lots of people queuing for drinks. It was a tad cold as the front door was open. However, there were lots of seats and the ambience was good.

Visited Sunday lunchtime. Good atmosphere, my husbands and I were seated on a table with a party of four which surprised us and them 😂. It was fine however we hadn’t realised it was shared tables. The service was excellent we found. Very attentive and chatty. Bit disappointed with my white wine which was warm however the food was really good. No complaints. A lovely waitress called Emma attended an adjacent table brilliantly when she dropped glasses near them. They were very dramatic and she handled the situation very professionally despite their attempts to make her feel awkward! We enjoyed our lunch very much

We went for lunch and found the room to be exactly like a ski chalet with light boxes showing different ski views. We felt like we had just come off the slopes. We each had a starter, main and dessert and a bottle of champagne. The Schnitzel and the apple strudel were delicious. My friend had lots of allergies which they catered for too. Highly recommend this for something a bit different and with good ambience.

Booked a while ago for the Saturday before Christmas and was really pleased with our visit. Really nice atmosphere and straight in to be seated. Staff were friendly albeit the service could have been a touch quicker, however we were not in a rush so was happy to enjoy our time there. Food was delicious, my partner had the schnitzel and I had the Mac and cheese, it was incredibly tasty and a deceptively big portion. The churros after we’re amazing. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that I do find the prices a touch on the high side especially given that there is a 12.5% service tip added too. All in all definitely worth a visit as a nice Christmas treat

We had a reservation for Sunday lunchtime for a table for 4 upstairs in the restaurant. We could have been in Val d'isere! Menu was lovely - great to share and Matterhorn burger was a delight. Service was good too, lovely and warm. All we needed was it to snow outside! A great addition to the Christmas Market this year.

Drinks on the terrace upstairs were cosy and nicely spaced out. Atmosphere was nice and the staff were extremely attentive and friendly! Amy our waitress and the manager (forget his name!) were both great! Definitely recommend. After reading the reviews earlier, I think this place is extremely underrated Xx
