If in York i completely recommend checking this gem out! Very kind staff and incredible buns, so soft and fresh. (i recommend the lotus filling) My friend had a matcha milkshake with strawberry jelly pearls and she said it was so creamy and they gave her so many pearls (for just the extra price of 50p!) Amazing all around, love love love!

I tried the lotus bun which was soft, fluffy and had a nice filling. 3£ for one small bun still is quite a hard bargain. But if you've never tried these type of buns before, they are worth a taste!

The pork bun was superb. We were lucky in waiting a couple of minutes upon ordering and were presented with fresh ones! Soft, fresh hot buns! Very kind workers too. Highly recommend trying one. The designs were a cute addition✨

This place is so amazing. The staff were so friendly and sweet and the actual food and drinks are so delicious, I loved it. I got the matcha shake with extra strawberry pearls and they only cost 50p extra and they have me so many, so that was definitely worth it. The staff were also super super kind and one even complimented my necklace, which I thought was super sweet. I definitely recommend this place to anyone craving a sweet treat :)

Cute place for dessert bao. Four flavours were available when we went: lotus seed, chocolate, custard and Char Siu pork. The pricing was £3 for one bao or £8 for three which they package separately in little paper bags. Or you can pay extra for box packaging. They also serve dessert shakes (cookies and cream, matcha, Biscoff etc.) but we didn’t order these. They make the buns fresh in store so you can watch them rolling out the dough and steaming them. Ours took about 10-15mins waiting time so we wandered around other shops before returning to pick them up. We got the £8 for three deal, and tried one of each flavour (except chocolate since that is the least traditional one). The bao was soft and flavour was good, however nothing special and relatively expensive compared to typical prices. The staff were extremely friendly though and the shop decor and buns are cute. It’s a decent place if you are passing by and looking for a whimsical snack. 很可爱但是味道一般般~!

I was eager to try Char Siu Bao when I am abroad. Surprisingly, it is good. The consistency of the char siu is pretty close to my country, Malaysia. The Bao is small in comparison to the original size.

Visited this place first thing yesterday, best decision! It’s such a cute place and the lady was super friendly. We got a strawberry bubble, cookies and cream milkshake and returned later for some bao. Everything was super yummy. Will recommend and return!

LOVE THE CUSTARD BAO BUNS! Never had chance to try any of the others as they’re always sold out but I’m obsessed with the custard ones and the level of detail on the top! Wish they weren’t as expensive but hey Ho!
