My son and I had a wonderful experience visiting Greggs today Wednesday afternoon. I had been in after a very long time and was looking for something which I had a very long time and was probably discontinued. We were served by Holly who was very kind and patiently listened to me and provided excellent customer service!
Forgot to order something after already placing and paying my order, rang Greg’s and spoke to a lovely man on the phone (sorry i didn’t catch the name) he couldn’t be more of a legend. Was super helpful, thank you!
Parking outside,fast service, friendly staff,nice food, well worth a visit.
Good breakfast deals, nice hot drinks too. Sandwiches are nice - especially the baguettes you can get toasted! THE BEST sausage rolls, It's a bit expensive however!
This place has the most friendliest of staff with the biggest most genuine smiles. Seriously, how can you guys manage that with such consistency? I have my own ranking of places in York that are most welcoming - all businesses big or small - and this place tops them all. There’s this other place which comes at a very close second with the rest lagging behind by some distance, but this Greggs is No. 1 only because of their staff. Well done and keep it up! 👍🏻
A pretty cheap bakery situated in the little cluster of shops on Kimberlow hill. As far as I'm concerned, it's like any other Greggs anywhere else in the country.
The interior has a little bit of seating, although it is rather small inside. The quality of the food is quite reasonable, especially when compared with certain other eateries, and the price is very representative of this.
Great if you want a steak slice or something, or maybe just feel too lazy to make something youself.
Convenient parking and location. Staff seemed nice and friendly and food is as good as always. I suggest the sausage and beans bakes personally.
Love Gregg's steak pasties others also available and good grab a yumyum or 4 can't resist them.
Great and cheap if you can Get a fresh batch, but don't go on the off times as they let the food go cold sometimes.
