Highly recommend, wonderful experience. The all you can eat lunch was amazing, they also do an evening menu, with more choice

Made a special trip to visit this restaurant. It's a bargain price for children (Was around £10.95) and my son ate plenty, adults were around £30 each (so it's an eat out for a treat kind of place). They come to your table offering each of the meats and then the waitress comes back once you have tried each meat and askes which ones you want again. There is also a plentiful salad bar. Drinks service from our waitress was pretty slow, but came eventually. I would definitely visit again if I was in the area.

A new experience for us, being our first time here. But we really enjoyed it. We booked, but arrived early on the off chance. The staff had no issues accomodating us early. Service was prompt, but not pushy. The process was explained, and we were left to start whilst our drinks arrived. It's a simple process - it's as much as you can eat - which may make you think the food quality is subpar, but it's not. Basically, you can help yourself to the salad bar, which is varied and well presented. Then, freshly prepared meat is brought to your table on a large skewer, and pieces taken off, or carved off, as required. If you want to skip some, just say. Once you've tried all the menu, you can select any of them, to try more of. Some are sweet, some spicy, and all come as standard medium rare. The quality is high, so this is perfect. If you prefer it prepared differently, just ask. Nothing is too much trouble. As well as the unlimited salad, and amazing freshly prepared meat, you get chips included too. The price after 4pm for adults is just under £30 per head as of Jan 22 at the York restaurant. The staff were all great, helpful and attentive. Definitely worth a visit. Updated March '22----- Still great staff, great food - and £20 during the day (for a slightly reduced menu - but still fantastic). Still recommended

So much choice at the salad bar and with the meats brought to the table. Friendly staff, clean and tidy venue, beautifully decorated and plenty of parking.

Food here is absolutely delicious. There selection of meat is always great and cooked perfectly. The salad bar has a great selection for all tastes. The drinks are great quality, especially the cocktails. The service is just fantastic, no matter how busy or quite, they always make you feel welcome and valued. Just remember, that it is best to try everything in smaller amounts so you don't miss out, then after you have trued everything, you can request more of your favourites. Sadly have never tried deserts here, as the mains are so amazing we always forget to leave room. And the value for money is great too.

Nice concept, enjoyed the variety and salad bar. Lunch time menu contained a good selection and all you can eat at £19.95 for adults and around £10 for kids, was good value. Staff were friendly and attentive.

A late lunch so the restaurant wasn't busy but the food and service was superb. The welcome was warm and friendly, a great atmosphere with music and spotlessly clean decor. The salad/hot food buffet, available for as many trips as you wish, had great variety and was maintained continually everything was fresh and very appealing. The selection, presentation and timing of the meat was perfect. We were never rushed or neglected. These folk genuinely cared about their customer experience. I would recommend totally over a similar local eatery where we ate last week. Everything is better at Caramba don't miss out it's excellent!

Amazing. Me and my partner came here after being recommended by friends. Soon as we walked through the door we was greeted by a blond woman who was extremely welcoming and friendly. We sat down and got our drinks and proceeded to the salad bar. All items were well stocked and very tasty. The meat arrived shortly after. We manage to try every single one (even the chicken heart!) there was a little bit of a wait for the meats as the restaurant ended up rather busy. But the staff managed it perfectly - cracking on and apologising for the wait. (Which they couldn’t help) We would like to say Thank-you for making our night a very pleasurable one and we can’t wait to visit again soon!

Great place and very helpful staff. Wheelchair accessible, and with plenty of vegetarian options as well, and very reasonably priced for the quality of the food.

We went on a quiet Thursday lunch. Food and service were great. We normally eat at the Selby Caramba but this one is very nice too

Booked a table for 2 for Sunday lunch roughly 3 weeks ago now, we were not disappointed. Lunchtime buffet was 19.95 each and that included a all you can eat buffet/salad bar that included regular salad and vegetable items but also cold meats and a couple of lovely stews. We went to the buffet counter and on our return a basket of fries had been placed on our table. Kitchen staff/waiting staff then come to your table with various cuts if meat, I believe it was 6 or 7 different cuts of steak, beef and lamb joints and also sausage. Then after being served all varieties you are given a card to turn over to say if you require more meats bringing or if you wish to be left alone. The place was undeserving quiet for the time of day, however after talking to the manager he was saying the place had only opened very recently. All staff were friendly and fantastic from the manager, to the lady which seated us (weirdly in the exact same seats when it was the Mexican place) to the gentleman bringing the meats from the kitchen. They couldn't do enough. Absolutely recommend to anybody, such excellent value. It's worth noting that the evening buffet is £29.95 but this includes something more in the range of double the variety of cuts of meat that they bring to your table. We haven't tried that one but it's still obvious to see its excellent value too. Keep up the good food and excellent service 😊

We visited for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We waited around 5 minutes to be seated which was fine, then were told we had actually booked into the Selby restaurant. I thought this may have been a genuine mistake of ours but our email confirmation definitely said York, so not sure if this was a system error or something we had done. The food was good quality and the staff were friendly. I didn’t try many of the meats as I’m quite fussy but my friends said they really enjoyed it.

Excellent salad bar and tasty meat.. we did get caught out by asking for a little more of the steak though as the 14.99 lunch bumps up to 19.99 when you have any seconds even if it is just a small extra slice. Best to get plenty of your fav fist time it comes if that's allowed.
