I didn't get a picture of the steak but it was the best steak I've had in a long time, immensely tender I barely even needed a steak knife for it.
The desserts were also amazing. It's a shame we were just visiting York but very glad we picked this place.
Cannot fault this place, steak was out of this world and cooked to perfection, atmosphere and decor was lovely and the price wasn't actually too bad either. Tom who served us was attentive and very friendly. If your going to York do yourself a favour and treat yourself here you won't be disappointed

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tomahawk Steakhouse in York for a Sunday lunch, and it was an absolute delight. The Sunday lunch sharing plates they offer were nothing short of fantastic, featuring a generous assortment of mixed meats that left my taste buds dancing with joy.

We visited on a busy bank holiday Saturday. Despite this, the staff were amazingly friendly and very prompt. We had great polite service and amazing food. Great relaxing atmosphere, beautifully decorated, swift service with very friendly helpful staff. Free fizz on our anniversary and icecream also. Food very good quality and presented.
Amazing food, amazing deals. We had the 3 courses for 25 and 2 cocktails for 12.
I had nachos to start and husband had parmo croquettas, then i had the 8oz steak with stilton & bacon sauce, husband had the same with BBQ, a side of Mac & Cheese, hash brown brisket & cheddar and dessert Bailey's creme
Absolutely amazing first time experience here! The food was incredible. Just wish there was one closer to where we live Nottinghamshire, we had to drive to York which is a tad too far for a meal but it was worth it for sure.
