Location - good! Just round the corner from the station.
Staff - friendly and engaging but it's quiet o' clock.
Beer: excellent. Brewdog pub also with guest beers
Game machines: yes there are game machines
Food: Owner/manager behind the bar also rolling the dough for the pizzas. Dough is pretty good
First Time Visiting This Bar And WOW!! What An Experience, I didn’t catch the females name who served us and took us through the Beer School, But She Was Fantastic and so knowledgeable and you could tell she loved her job, Really Enjoyed The Experience and will definitely be back in the future

We visited for the pizza deal, it was lovely handmade pizza bases with tasty toppings.
Beers were good, and all the staff were helpful even though it was on the busy side, offered us tasters of some of the beers before we decided on a pint.
Only let down were the fries that were a bit
Tom & Nick were very knowledgeable in all things IPA’s etc, and were more than happy to spend time telling us about all the different flavours and ingredients used to make these Beers, lagers and IPA’s.

Absolutely love this bar! The service was great! Imogen Grace and Fraser were so helpful in guiding me to pick a drink because I was so indecisive! They were so friendly and welcoming! Will definitely come again :)
My new office is just around the corner so I'm making BD York one of my regular stops now (rather than the BD in Leeds). This latest visit the place was pretty busy which meant a little wait for food but the pizza was superb and the beers on point as always.
