Have not been in here for a few years. Surprised at how well the pub is run now. Good selection of beers., Beer garden and live music.
Thus pub is a grown up pub , no students no families just older people out for a pleasant time . It's calm and cool on the inside with an older worldly feel , and outside is a large seating area that's pleasant with flowers but not over the top . There is no food I believe but a good choice of lager
Proper good boozer, nice outdoor seating. Good mix of beers on cask/keg. Pork pie really tasty !
Great pub with a nice range of beers and a comfortable lounge bar with lots of board games. Would have happily spent an afternoon here.

Great pub and very friendly. Live bands on every Sat night, and a wonderful acoustic session each Sunday afternoon. Strong recommend.

Nice traditional pub not far past Monkgate bar. Music most Friday night's.
Lovely homely pub with polite, friendly staff. The toilets were clean and the locks on the door work. They have a lovely outdoor area, there is a seating area outdoors under shelter with heat lamps. Came to see the band Dufflegoat here, they were amazing!

First time in pub, lovely atmosphere, very friendly lady behind bar, great traditional bar, not that many left,well worth a visit to support good bars like this .
Nice pub just further out than most which gives it an average amount of foot traffic.
Live music has just started out again when writing this review so don't have any opinions on that matter tho they do have bands on quite a lot.
