A nice place in the east campus of UOY with delicious food, excellent service and option.
I like this place better than some of the other pizza shops around york. The pizzas are big and I think they're priced reasonably. Only drawback is that it's a little far from where I stay but that shouldn't be a minus. The mozzarella sticks are awesome and staff are chill.
Cecil’s is always brilliant, serving fresh and hot food for the students of campus east. Had the BEST Chicken Kebab I've EVER had last night! Amazing.. tried them before and it was salty.. so glad I went back! Highly recommended. Good service and great value for money!
I don't think ive ever been at a better take out place. The interior is perfection, the menus on the tvs are mesmerising. The staff are literally the nicest people I have ever met. The food quality is to die for. The prices are very fair. I would love to be able to eat here daily and I don't care if

Fresh marinated chicken, cooked on the grill, home made garlic yogurt, home made chilli sauce, home made bread - very very good. Only thing i would say is that the salad sometimes looks a little wilted as they prep this early.

Had a few different things delivered recently from Cecils. Burgers, Pizza, Donner wrap. All very tasty and good portions, delivered quickly. The ingredients used are fresh & good quality, the chips are really good and well spiced - not the soggy affairs some takeaways serve. Love Cecils!
