Very friendly and helpful staff. The coffee, in my personal opinion, is better than it used to be and pretty good. The food selection is good and fresh. Our server, Amber, was really lovely and made us feel welcome 😊 (I hope I got the name right).
Very cool building which was very welcome on a boiling hot day.
All staff friendly and efficient. I saw the young man who served me taking a tray for a gentleman with a walking stick, which he did cheerfully and no objection. The carrot cake was fine and fresh. All in all absolutely fine.

The muffins are always a good accompaniment to a coffee in Costa. However, sadly, I can not say the same for the egg mayonnaise sandwich we purchased today. It eas dry and sadly lacking in mayonnaise and seasoning.
Luckily, the crisps we bought gave some seasoning
One good thing, though, was that we didn't have to queue here and the service was excellent.

I visit Costa at least once a week at Vanguard York, I am always presently surprised with the excellent customer service the team give to every single customer. There is a tall young man and a young lady called Steph that are usually working, they try to greet on arrival and say goodbye to every customer. The tables are cleared as soon as they are vacated, cold food selection topped up regularly. Service is prompt and given with a smile. I hope they receive the recognition they deserve.
The coffee is getting very expensive but my husband says its the best
Although very busy, the staff were quick and friendly at serving and there was a young lady keeping up with cleaning the tables.

A good Costa Coffee location with the usual good coffee and choice of food options. Can normally get a seat whenever I've visited and it also has friendly and helpful staff.
My wife & I popped into Costa Coffee at Vanguard to kill time waiting for her appointment at Specsavers. The cafe was pretty full but we managed to get A 2-seater table as a couple left. We ordered a cappuccino & a latte but were surprised that there was no offer to take them to our table as we both are 88 yes old. There was a good selection of food & the place was clean & warm with tables Bering cleared regularly. I can recommend this cafe

Fantastic customer service, I asked for a slightly off the menu drink, and the assistant was able to (1) make it without any qualms and (2) made it fantastically well! I left with my iced flat white extracted over ice with the winter roast and thought, damn, this is a very good cup of coffee.
If I got their names I would have left feedback, but if you guys in the store see this, thank you so much for that amazing drink, really got me ready for the day ahead!
Excellent covid-19 management in place here. Drinks and sundries yummy as always.
