For some reason it feels like you're travelling back in time when you enter this store, the seventies comes to mind! All in all it has a large range of (modern) products available spread over quite a sizeable showroom. Prices, on the whole, seem very affordable when compared to larger supermarkets.
The York Wilko is a great place to shop. There always seems to be something different in there compared to other shops. Plus its usually very keenly priced.
This is a big shop and it's got everything you need in hardware, the cafe is good and it has a kids play area, the staff are always helpful.

The self-checkouts are bizarre and there's often a queue to pay, but otherwise a good general store for household goods, DIY, furnishings and stationary.

Love this shop, and the cafe is amazing, the staff are very friendly and attentive, also it's so clean. We'd had sn all day breakfast that was gorgeous with plenty on the plate and a latte. Real value for money
If you need something, they probably have it! A great store. The pick and mix screws, bolts and washers is everymans dream. Garden bits are now out. Prices are very good. Easy to park with plenty of other shops around. Cafe is ok if you need a cuppa whilst shopping. Good range of pet and wild bird f
Wilko is a brilliant shop, it has everything under one roof. You can get almost anything you want from wilko and at very good prices too, eg, my daughter has been looking for some domestos power foam toilet cleaner and she hasn't been able to find any, me and my husband went into Wilkos and found so
