Friendly staff. Got a couple slices of pastries and they were quite nice. Not a lot of selection probably because it was kinda late when I arrived. Not bad though.
Dunno what all the bad reviews are about, it's a good friendly place for locals looking for a bite during lunch. I've visited plenty of times and never had an issue with the price, and it's always been tasty & they have very friendly staff.
I love to visit for savoury & cakes. Delicious pasties, cheese straws & fresh cream cakes. Have recently had a birthday cake made. Plenty of designs to choise from & good prices. Staff always very helpful & friendly. Birthday cake 🎂 was smashing!
Well worth a visit to the best bakery in York, we always pay a visit when ever we pass cooplands and always spend quite a bit in here, all the food is fresh and cooked on the day (or made fresh on the day in the case of sandwiches and cold treats), the vast choice and quality of the food and drinks
The young lads who served me behind the counter where absolutely lovely, they where so pleasant and kind even though it was a very busy Sunday before Christmas.
