The Nags Head - York - Photo album

Outside of wetherspoons this is probably the cheapest place for a pint in York you won't get ripped off here. Well kept beer and good music. Mind your head on the low ceilings if your over 6ft!
Fantastic visit to York and this pub looked after us all and at really good prices thank you 🙏
Amazing local pub didn't think they had food. Everyone so friendly and extremely good prices compared with the centre of York. It was over the road from our hotel we called in every night for our last drink.
We visited this pub while in York, it was a lovely, dog friendly local pub, we enjoyed the music and ppl, the two barmen was really friendly, and it was very clean. And you could get a pint a large wine and a packet of nuts for under a tenner. Absolutely brilliant, definitely will be back next time w
Call in Monday day and evening .As always craft union pubs cheep and full of caricatures.
Great little English pub. Very friendly staff. A selection of beers both on tap and bottled, all very reasonably priced. An alfresco beer garden out the back. One of many in the street. Well worth a visit and a bit away from all the "touristy " pubs. Well worth discovering.
What a lovely place to go and check the history . Truly worth a visit and the guides very informative. The bedroom was spooky with the sound of snoring lol
Decent food, but hey xD the atmosphere was alright, can't exactly complain it was warm but not incredibly hot, we sat inside with a view of the garden not sure it was a beer garden though the experience was pleasant
First time here, fantastic value for money, the staff (Tom & Chris I think!) were very very nice and ask us about our stay etc Very down to earth place and would definitely be back
Didn't have food just a drink while in York, quite small but friendly pub near to city centre, would recommend it for atmosphere
