Quite possibly the best Chinese takeaway in the city.
On the go since 1970, I have never had a bad meal from this takeaway. A true hidden gem, this takeaway does not deliver, and is located at the end of a side road that can be rather hard to navigate at times.
Always good, have been using this Chinese for 20 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Never had a bad takeaway from here. It’s always busy which speaks for itself. They don’t offer delivery however I am happy to collect.
Placed the order and had a small wait of maybe 5 minutes on arrival. They had measures in place to keep people apart or queueing outside, although I was the only customer whilst there so not sure how effective they are if busy

Best Chinese takeaway in York and surrounding area. Consistently great food everytime I've been and always prepared in a speedy manner for collection. Would recommend Kitchener Street's Chop Suey House to anyone for their next takeaway any day.

Use to go somewhere else at one time until I tried this takeaway, heaven in tinfoil never had bad food from here. Even the curry is almost hot enough for my husband.
