Came here for dinner before I had to catch the train back to London. Chose this pub solely because of its close location to the train station. Service was very fast and the food was delicious. Very much enjoyed my time here, not just in the pub, but also in York.

Went in for breakfast this morning, ordered through the app and promptly got given my mug for refillable coffee and informed that there would be a 15 minute wait on food as the kitchen were having an 'unexpected refit', not a problem. An hour passed and still no sign of my food, had places to be so

The Punch Bowl is a great wetherspoon pub in York. Usual good standard of service, food and drinks. My Teachers cost just ยฃ2.99. Yes tahnk you. People are friendly staff is quick, respectful and professional. Food is well prepared and tastie.

Having an early stroll around York then Wearherspoons is the only option really, lovely food and hot FREE refills of coffee tea or Hot chocolate. A nice full breakfast to set you up for the day.
