The Micklegate At 127 - York - Photo album

This venue in York has a great atmosphere, with a variety of seating areas, and happy, friendly staff. It's mainly a bar, but does serve interesting toasties. It's sweet that they also have water available for self-service, plus cute containers with both white and brown sugar cubes!
Came to Micklegate and was incredibly impressed by everyone in particular this gentleman named Luke who has to be top 50 cocktail bartenders in the UK for me! Sean made the next round of cocktails and it seems high standards is a discipline at Micklegate Social
I do like it, and it's good....but sorry, for me Fossgate Social has it.....but I have to confess it's only 200m from my apartment.....and I can wave to my partner in our lounge to come down....Micklegate Social is still a cracker though ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
First time I have visited this place. Nice pint of Verdant Light Bulb. 2nd visit still giving it 5 stars . Excellent window seat watching the world go by. Cannot remember what my pint was , probably some hazy IPA
Lovely relaxed atmosphere and the staff were really friendly. Not a huge selection of food, mainly toasties and a few sweet treats but delicious and perfect if your looking for something small! Great selection of drinks, lots of gins and the cocktails looked amazing.
Brilliant cocktails! Pricey, but very good and table service
Popped in for a quick cuppa before work. It's a lovely comfy place with plenty of seating areas. A few tables outside so if it's sunny it's ideal. It's a clean and welcoming environment and the toilets are clean ( always a bonus ๐Ÿ˜‚ ) staff are really friendly and was served by Meg and later Katie wh
We visited this place for breakfast and had salmon with scrambled eggs and avocado on toast and pancakes with egg, mushrooms and maple syrup. We were very pleased with our food but found the prices a bit high considering the size of the dishes. Overall a very good experience and we recommend it for
Nice bar with a good selection of interesting beer. Only stayed for a pint with some friends. One had coeliac and found a gluten free beer (a good one, not just a bottle of peroni like in most pubs). Others had interesting GnTs they both enjoyed. Payed ยฃ23 for the 4 drinks.
Great live dj set, good selection of small batch brewery beers
Lovely break to the day , just in the middle of the castle city walk.. tasty food, freshly made drinks are fantastic I am not kidding, go downstairs toilet for a great experience, the atmosphere truly takes you back in time!
great place - lovely staff, great cocktails, excellent atmosphere.
Youthful in its approach but not necessarily in its clientรจle. Friendly staff, decent selection of local beer. Worth a visit.
This place is cozy and has a lovely set of seating arrangements that are both comfortable and stylish. The atmosphere great and it feels a bit more like your in a bigger city than most other places in York. Itโ€™s a cool place. Hard to get healthy food but what they have is tasty ๐Ÿ˜‹
Friendly coffee house with a unique charm, super friendly team, and awesome fresh brewed coffee. Forget the coffee shop Chain's and support a local business.
Been here a few times. I like the vibe and the comfortable sofas. On my last visit there wasn't much to choose from on the sweet treats front but we've enjoyed the cakes there in the past if I recall.
Amazing bar, with great real ales and gorgeous cocktails. It was the perfect place to stop and rest after exploring the city.
Lovely cafe, friendly staff, the atmosphere was great as well also loved the interior
