Came in for a table for 2, restaurant fully booked good sign of quality food. Sat down and waited 1hr for main course however the dishes did not disappoint, waiter was very polite and respectful, explained to us nicely that there will be a longer wait for mains. Overall will be back worth the wait thankyou to Janna spice and it’s team
We were on short break from Bradford and wanted to experience a North Yorkshire curry. Discovered Janna Spice through Google and booked a table. On entering the restaurant we were immediately greeted and shown to our table. Our order was taken and our starter delivered promptly. Food was fantastic and presented in its own Janna Spice way, very pleasing to the eye. We were asked if we wanted the main course straight away or with some time in between. Good customer service in my books. Main course delivered, again very well presented and tasted superb. Compliments to the chef and the service team. A hidden gem in Haxby. Colin & Julie 🙂

The food here is always flavoured well with obvious experienced use of spices.. The meat is tender fish cooked perfectly..the starters are great especially the king prawn butterfly and onion bhaji !

It was possibly the best curry i had in my life.
I don't always say that, but my god it was good, I've ordered a Jarpuri Lamb Shank, the meat was just falling off the bone, and the flavour was so mouth watering :)
To top it up the service was so welcoming and those guys will properly look after you.
If I didn't live so far away I'd be eating there everyday 😃

We love Janna Spice, it’s our go-to restaurant every time even though we don’t live in the village. Friendly staff, delicious food and lovely quaint restaurant in a handy location with lots of places to have a drink on the doorstep before and after 🫶🏻 10/10

First time ordering a takeaway from here. I won't be going anywhere else absolutely fabulous food had Chicken Biryani Chicken Korai and Murgh Masala every dish had its own flavour not like some curry houses where the food smells and tastes the same.

Twice ordered and different food both times for delivery. The food arrived bang on time both times and was hot. The taste of all the dishes was delicious. Their Dal Tarka is superb and the naans soft and fluffy. Definitely will order again
Recommended by fellow campers, this lovely little village Indian restaurant packs a punch. Throughly enjoyed my vegetable dansak, chilli naan, and onion bargie that I shared with my love. Loaded with veggies and delicious. Service super attentive by Radin made us feel well looked after. Prices affordable. Highly recommend. We’ll be back.
