We have been ordering from Kashmir for well over a year now and can say that it is the best place in York for a curry!
Food is always hot on delivery and can't fault the service!

Best Indian takeaway we have had for a long time, the other 2 main ones in Acomb have been a big disappointment lately, this was spot on, really tasty, and was still hot when it arrived!
We treat ourselves once a week and it's always been excellent. As a pair of chefs it's great to have somewhere local where we can get a great take out real when we're too tired (lazy) to cook for ourselves! Friendly and great service. Highly recommended

excellent food could not fault anything ,except the lamb dupiza because i am eating that tonight ,veg pilla spot on chappati and nan nice and fresh ,cooked to perfection not soggy and not burnt
chicken sag was great ,been to loads of indians and this was as good as any
Full on flavour curries. Lovely sweet naan breads and light and crispy poppadoms. Excellent food and service with great prices. Can't ask for more than that!!!

Really enjoyed last nights meal - all four main dishes were excellent - especially the Lamb Amdl which none of us had tried before.

Absolutely amazing, I was in food heaven. Manager was so nice and considerate. Asked my how day was, which was nice. He wad absolutely charming. Again,the food was stunning. Looked lovely and tasted better than any in Acomb. Would recommend to everybody ever. The rich juicy flavours of the chicken really brought out the exquisite spice of the sauce. The makkani was to die for
York's hidden gem when it comes to Indian food. I ordered Lamb Karahi, Sheesh kebab and naans...the food was delicious and at such great value. Take a look at my photographs. Syed, the chef, is a master in the kitchen and his customer service is first rate. I would highly recommend His food!!
Highly recommend amazing well cooked food full of flavour ,so tender melts in mouth made from fresh ingrediants, lovely friendly polite family run business. Fast delivery .As to be the best chicken Korma and sauce have tasted since moving to york cooked just the way we like ,amazing chapatii's.
The owner of this takeaway is a lovely, polite, professional family proud man and myself and my partner dropped in to order food for takeaway because we wanted to try it so our first time and the food was lovely, flavoursome and filling. Very good quality I am very impressed.
He was also kind enough to pop out to check our spice preferences.
And the gentleman had two of his children around and the little girl was so chatty and lovely, good manners she kept us entertained while waiting such an adorable sweet child and I highly recommend this establishment, entertainment and conversation from good kids is subject to availability 😄😁☺️😊🤗
Me and my husband had a lovely meal from here. I don't like my food too spicy so syed made it milder for me and hotter for hubby. Thank you Syed will definitely be back.

By far the most delicious butter chicken I've ever eaten. Paired with their naan, I am confident that it is the best Bangladeshi/Indian food I've ever tasted. I also ate their sag panoir (paneer?) and it too was delicious. Syed could not have been a more welcoming gentleman, and I will not forget his kindness and help. Wish I could give Kashmir 6 stars! Had chicken tikka masala and garlic rice by far the best in York in a long time will definitely be getting that again.
