Been going here regularly, the portions are massive and super tasty. Never waited too long except on Fridays obviously. Fish cooked fresh. Pickled onions great too. Friendly owner and team.

Went in for a fish Pattie as always loved them from here as a kid to be told they didn’t do them anymore. Was gutted and my sad face must have made Pete feel sorry for me as he said he would make them up for me. Even nicer than I remember and just amazing service. Thank you so much. Chips were spot

Decent standard each time we go. Usually get fish bites (5) chips and curry X2/3 depending on numbers. Tasty fish, good portion size and decent value for money.

First time in years visiting this chippy. Chips were great tasting, not overly greasy. Fish was excellent, high quality, meaty, with lovely crispy batter. Definately one of the best in York.
